Pop Quiz; Who is "Million Dollar Quartet"
Contestant # 1. (check-out those shoes)
Contestant # 2. (one of my all time favorite groups)
Contestant # 3. (they changed their name because of a automaker)
Contestant # 4. (The 21st Century Schizoid Band?)Contestant # 5. (Sam's house band)
Okay, times-up. Have you made your selection yet? See, it wasn't that difficult, was it?
The band that holds the proud distinction as officially being known as "The Million Dollar Quartet" is...drum roll please...Contestant # 5. From left to right is; Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, Elvis Somebody and Johnny Cash. Or, as some might say, Sam Phillips' Sun Records house band.
But wait. We're not finished yet. Before you go, you must leave the names of the remaining Contestants listed from # 1 thru 4 in the comments section below. Ta-ta.

Oh my Dear Dodd & Jimmi,
That's a nice try, but sorry, no winner here. Ohhh.....
But I'll give you a little hint to the correct answer;
Contestant # 2 is not the Box Tops. Try again!

My friend David from Atlanta contacted me to answer the quiz correctly.
The correct name of the second contestant is The Jeff Beck Group.
(L-R) Jeff Beck, Rod Stewart, Nicky Waller, and Ron Wood

The Beatles, The Small Faces, Booker T and the MG's, King Crimson
I'm gonna go with the ID of #2 as the Jeff Beck Group. That's definitely Rod Stewart there. But Rod wasn't in the SMALL Faces, only their successor band, the Faces. In which case we'd see Ron Wood and Ian McClagan, but we don't.
