Don Nix's "Going Down" Live Radio Broadcast

Wanna' hear the absolute best version of "Going Down" that you've ever heard? What's that you say? You've never heard of the song "Going Down?" Whoa! What have you been living in a cave or something for over 40 years?  Well, don't make me start from scratch here cause this song is a staple in the history of modern-day rock and soul music. Plus, if you haven't heard it yet now is your chance. Trust me, The Photolog can be a strong critic when it comes to song analyst but this version definitely takes the cake. It's the best rendition and I've heard them all. Go ahead and check it out as I'll think you'll agree. Here' the YouTube link in HD with picturesque Don Nix sideshow to boot...

Great rendition of Going Down. I always thought that it was a Freddie King song, as I believe his version is still the standard. But this one is excellent, especially the piano by Jay Spell. Keep this coming and take care

Excellent !!! Toured Stax a couple of weeks ago and became a member of the Museum to help support it. Then about a week ago went to a great concert there. North Miss Allstars played with the Symphony Orchestra as backup.

Keep up the good work. Ray K

I just wish I had a copy of EVERY broadcast that we did at Ardent. They were minblowers!. The Lynyrd Skynyrd songs are on disc now, as well as the Wishbone Ash
Love it!

Well that was a blast! God bless Don and Larry!
Who was drumming then???
And who engineered those Ardent/FM 100 broadcasts? Cause the ones I've heard are all badass. Got to get another copy of the Skynyrd one too, found one years ago and it had the unreleased "Woman of Mine" on there!Priceless!
Thanks
Jimmy Davis
