RIP Tony Joe White (1943-2018)

In memory of old friend Tony Joe White (1943-2018) who passed away Wednesday at the age of 75.
The former Memphian was originally from Louisiana but died in Nashville where he had lived for several decades. In my opinion, Tony Joe White was one of the greatest songwriters in modern music history have written the monster hits, "Polk Salad Annie" and "Rainy Night in Georgia" among others. His songs were covered by many great artists such as Elvis Presley, Hank Williams Jr, Tina Turner, Ray Charles, Waylon Jennings and many more. RIP Tony Joe. You will be missed. Paul Allen's Vintage Aircraft and Artillery Museum in Everett WA

On Monday, Oct. 15th, 2018 the world awoke to the sudden passing of philanthropist and great Seattle renaissance man Mr. Paul Allen (1953-2018). Allen had no earthly equal and no doubt was a knight in shining armour. In Redmond, WA in 1975 Allen co-founded the global technology giant Microsoft with childhood friend, Bill Gates. From that endeavor Paul Allen would go on to be one of the richest people in the world. Allen had a wide range of interest that included science to sports to music. He owned the Seattle Seahawks, the Portland Trail Blazers, the massive real estate giant Vulcan Properties, the EMP Rock Music Museum (now known as MoPOP) and the Allen Institute for Brain Science among others. Recently I was very inspired when I visited Paul Allen's vintage aircraft and artillery museum in Everett, WA and known as the "The Flying Heritage Collection.' Upon that timely visit I filmed this photo documentary of Allen's vintage aircraft museum that includes tanks and other military hardware. Please enjoy this photo documentary "The Flying Heritage Collection."
